where are my ads showing up?
:welcome
turn the content partners and broad matching off.
it will save you a lot of money in the long run.
that is
a. inaccurate, and i can prove it
and
b. not an answer
i've found i can get conversions out of the adsense stuff (content partners)
typically it is more expensive (by 50%-100%)
than the search stuff but i'm at a point
where i am willing to pay more for more those leads
i make it work for me by creating a new
identical campaign with much lower bids
meanwhile i'm still looking for an answer to my 1st question
the answer is you can't find out. the ads are sent through an ad server so the urls are munged.
many times you can't see the ads also, even with a referrer, because of fraud. many times its a click bot thats pulling your ad.
if you see the referrer and can't see the ad on the page, thats cause for concern. send an email to the adwords support people and see what they say.
if you go to yahoo or google, type your domain name in and you may be able to see pages that were indexed with your ad running on them.
Maybe a look through your log files might indicate where some of your traffic is coming from..
As for the content partners, it's your adertising bankroll. If you get better conversions, run with them. My experience was the opposite...
his reply was a little "curt" for my liking :)
