Confused by needs for website size

:wenda hi wenda! you need 50mb or less. also make sure you get a php with mysql setup if you plan on hosting a forum. make sure the mysql database doesnt count against your hosted web space and you will do great.

or you can get a ree forum at http://myfreebb.com/. that way it's easy and you dont have to pay a dime or worry about webspace. the ads are served by google and should be fine--they also are fairly low profile compared to say, geocities. If you really want something that's not expensive you can use the free forum and spend about 10 bucks at freewebs.com for the no-ads/100 megabytes hosting and 10-15 more for a forwarded domain. 25 bucks a YEAR is really cheap for a website but should satisfy what you need--i think. ^-^

Thanks, sorry it took a while to respond.. I saw the first message a while back, and felt better.. I kept on talking my self up to "I need more, I need more", then would slap myself down to the fact I was overdoing. The second suggestion I just saw today. I will check it out when I get home. I am a little intimidated that in order to find out what the site offers I must sign up. I would at least pay to take off the ads. I was in a troop that had a web site with ads. We were promised they would be appropriat. They were until a movie ad showed up with this very sexual display in order to get your attention. Although it may displayed elsewhere where anyone could see it. It just was odd to see this half dressed man & woman (posed for physical activity that the BS do not have any merit badges for) as the header banner for our boyscout web site. I'm sure the website was screening & not allowing the questionable advertisers, but never thought that a movie advertiser may display some questionable items.
