yeah, the site looks great! just if you can think of a way to indicate your menu text is actually links, cause for some reason the hand doesnt even show up. it made me do a double-take so to speak. rollover buttons would be nice. Bigrob is prob'y right, because the site looks great and seems to have excellent content, so you actually have the site quality, and should do fine if you employ some of the little webmaster tricks, like what he mentioned. Have you considered pay per click? if all else fails, it WILL work and can get enough visits to start word of mouth. if you have the money :-/ always the issue
btw did you know that have another doctype declaration <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> halfway down the page (in code view). also the FULL doctype should be <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">[/code] your list doesn't display in opera 7.51 and no hand in netscape/firefox. it also relies on javascript which a few users have turned off. better to use plain text links or a css styled 'list' http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/
link exchanges have helped my site tremendously. Good luck! Nicci
Links always help. It is really hard to be an 'island" on the internet and expect to do anything amazing. It seems that work at home businesses would be one of those things on the internet that has a lot of competition, as everyone wants to work at home. Do you rank for any of your KW's?
