Thanks, Edwin. I am changing some of the text on the page as well. Good advice.. Nicci
Always make the pages as descriptive as possible. That helps both the searcher and the search engine identify the pages better.

I have fallen into laziness with adding basically the same descriptions and text to all my pages. There is so much more I could add to this page. I was also advised to change the name of the page to animal_jewelry.htm. Nicci
That's probably the easiest mistake anyone new makes. You end up using basically the same description and keywords on every page. If you take a few minutes to think of at least a few variations of your main keywords, you will end up with a chance to rank for a few variations. If you do that every time on every page you make, it will pay dividends over time.

That has gotten me to a PR5 or 6 on the index. I am anxious to see the rest of my pages do that. Nicci
If you haven't already, I suggest you add a SiteMap to your website. It is a very big help for the overall linking structure of your website, plus it helps anchor the text very well. To make a SiteMap, you can use the free program called: Xenu

I'm not sure it is 100% effective, http://tribeazure.com/category.htm. I will check out this program. Thanks!
defintely xenu is nice. hey you are a hottie i think! i can't see your picture its too small but i am guessing :) the best part of xenu is its like the only free sitemap maker out there and its fast!
One nice thing about a SiteMap is it helps you think more about the layout of your site, and how you have SEO'd the pages. Its also good for visitors. For 4 keyword or greater search phrases sitemaps can help your standings a great bit.

It took me awhile to add my avatar. I'm not sure why I couldn't get it, but it wouldn't take my info. I finally changed it. I got tired of being Jessica Rabbit. :) I downloaded the program. I'm gonna play around with it. I did the sitemap I have now just by adding any relevant pages on my site.

As a matter of fact, it has carried a higher PR than any of my other pages besides my index so you are right about that. Nicci
That Xenu is fairly cool.
I'm going to have to give a whirl. I did download but have been hesitant to work with due to fear of making a mess of it.
you gotta use it. the sitemap will help a lot.
