Heres a blurb worth mentioning off of yahoo news.. WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Google Inc., the world's No. 1 Web search provider, said on Monday it hoped to raise as much as $2 billion in its highly anticipated initial public offering and could have an initial market cap as high as $36.25 billion. About 24.6 million shares will be sold in the IPO for between $108 and $135, according to an amended prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. WOW.
So if your looking for someone to borrow a bit of money off you know where to go. :P
They are also adding a $300 million+ settlement to Yahoo to the IPO. So early purchasers of this stock will get to payout on that immediatedly.
Yahoo will probably spend the money going after google.
It also means that Google reported a loss for the quarter. They also said revenue was up only 7% for the quarter based on seasonality. Those are not that impressive of numbers for a new company.
I feel like playing with the stock markets. :twisted:
