The words in the above link are not my words but someone elses, I found this when doing a search, it is about time webmasters take the lead on this issue of Google domination of the internet and search. Webmasters should promote non-privacy invading search for the public. All software that transmits page views to third parties should be outlawed. That includes all TOOLBARS from all TOOLBAR SPYWARE providers.
Webmasters aren't motivated to stop Google. Google is producing most of the revenue for them.

well i agree there's more pressure on google than you :) i also think google is making a bad reputation for themselves with a lot of groups. i doubt the can maintain 80% market share forever.

I seen that, but BK webmasters can not leave Google out of every aspect of their business. Yes BK, but you and I can talk all day long about how bad the toolbars are and how they are spyware, but look at the ads after the page is spidered, it will be all spyware and toolbar related adsense ads. Just think of all the toolbar ads that Google will show on that page, even M$ is advertising their toolbar with ADSENSE. Talk about ironic? Google does not care, they will advertise anything.

I was doing a search on google the other day and it brought up "google answers" for results! The pay service provided by google. Another move by google to make more money? Or just a fluke on search for a minute?
G answers is human help that looks through Google and does the work for you, sort of like a service for those who do not want to click through the results themselves. I guess the truth is, Google is trying to turn some dollars. Whether AnthonyCEA is high or not :wink: They claim to have a market cap higher than Yahoo. Hard to say whether or not its true, since they never had to report it. Minimum order is 5 shares. I think in *most* IPO's a minimum order of 100 is standard. All the tools you can get in the google toolbar you can get somewhere else. Firefox browser has a google PR plugin and a popup blocker and a search pad. everything else in it is just micky mouse stuff.
