:welcome I agree with Edwin... w3school is one of the best tutorial sites out there... The best way to learn is just crash right in and do it... What are you using to design? (FrontPage, HotDog, DreamWeaver, Notepad, etc...)
I do not know much code, and for one think hate doing codes for everything, have enough of that in my programming classes. What is the easiest way to build a good site? Is codes needed or is that just an old time thing that you can use but is the hard way to do it...like Cobol.
There's no need to code, since there are more opensource applications. Ofcourse it's your preference. to tweak you might need to learn. checkout www.phpnuke.org www.xoops.org They make a good starting point.
