BackLink Checker

Bling, if it worked it would be great, have you tried it yourself, it showed no backlinks for Yahoo or Google, the ADSENSE ADS looked good and so did the link to your forum. They both worked.

i dont like api keys. i dont want google knowing who i am.

Well Edwin, I will start a thread on that very subject soon.

[quote:0fbe26991b="edwin"]i dont like api keys. i dont want google knowing who i am.[/quote:0fbe26991b] It's your choice. There is really know other way of finding out the information without one. I would share mine, but they are so limited that it would run out quite quickly. Although I don't promote, you could just sign up for a junk email account and have the key sent to you there.

a man who's ready to defend his tool :P

It showed zero backlinks for Google and Yahoo and many other sites, could it be that my API key was bad, if so it should not show any results. But it should tell you that your key is bad. Why did it run the test and show zero results for Yahoo and Google?

The tool is still in Beta and has not had proper error catching inside of it yet. Can you please double check your Key for me?

Bound to be some bugs in a new tool.

I just fixed one big problem. The Google API rarely returns the correct number of results. For example it might tell you that you have 24 results when you really only have 23. In those instances the BackLink Checker was checking the PR value of NULL. In case you are wondering NULL has a Page Rank of 8. GO FIGURE! Rest assured, the Back Link Checker no longer checks empty URLs.

The BackLink Page Rank Checker now should take care of 99% of the problems that you might have had or in the very least give you a proper error message detailing the reasons it may have not worked.

way to go!

I dont like API keys as well I normally just use allinurl command at http://www.webmasterbrain.com/prog/
