Google is able to traverse redirects just fine. The only case when they are not is when the host changes the link based on the agent. I don't believe this is happening in this case, but would like hear from somebody who does. I like BlogWise because they don't keep you in the dark concerning how long it takes to get listed. They tell you how many are in the queue ahead of you and the average waiting time. Mine was just an hour or so.
Not only does the link have to be re-directed but the redirect script needs to be excluded in robots.txt.
