PR 2 for maritime jurisdictions and 3 for country jurisdictions If I link a sitemap page to those 70 pages on jurisdictions and 70 pages on maritime and dont use the 301 those 140 pages could generate some pagerank of their own which could be valuable if used with the correct anchor text. they probably wont come up in anything because the content is duplicated but they should still carry a bit of PR and building a 301 redirect that redirects to different pages based on a session id in asp is a little bit to much work for this week. mabey next week. I am going to use a cut down sitemap for the main pages linking to the other pages and have the old site linked to from one sitemap page just so google dosnt forget about it. Im still thinking of having maritime.asp as a valid page and maritime.asp?jurisdiction=whatever 301 redirecting to the main page. just to see what happens. then keep all the jurisdiction.asp?jurisdiction=jurisdiction as actual pages with good text backlinks. anyone see a problem with this.
Re-direct them all to the main page. There's a chance that the PR could spread to that.
I need PR more on the jurisdiction pages I think. I will test out both just to see.
