i couldn't figure out how to optimize their release. if you figure it out, let me know. you send it to an editor, who has final approval so i'm not sure how people are claiming to optimize them.
You have to pay before you can optimise. but at least it gives you a bit more PR
i did pay them. then you turn the release in and they edit it. so i didn't get a chance to insert anchor text.
Once they approve the release I think you can edit it after that. or you could just e-mail and ask. i just used the free release to increase the IP range of backlinks. you get 2 days before its released so you should have time to change it. also you can look at next weeks news releases, which i think is cool.
