Serps Questions

Keyword density, and all on-page factors, don't matter as much as inbound links. That said, the same way I've made pages for a year has proven pretty durable in the SERPS. I almost always use the H1 tags. And I start the first paragraph with the target phrase. Almost all the content pages are 300-400 words. The keyword density matters for Yahoo and MSN, though, so it doesn't hurt to err on the side of too much.

Great looking site, when you say experimenting, does that mean this is your site, or that you are reverse engineering this site?

It is my site built with content from the old one which i rewrote so its mostly all mine. I am experimenting with some scripts & stuff.

Well, if you have that kind of talent to program, then you will have no problem making it in the business. How long has the site been up and running and how can you manage the growth that will take place since it looks like you will do well with what is set up.

It is quite well set up to handle growth as the entire incorporation process is automated. I just need more traffic. Just waiting for google to find all the backlinks.

When are you going to help me?

What do you want me to help you with. If you need something built just let me know.

I own over 500 domains, do you think I need development partners? see www.internetnamebank.com PM your email address to me.

why do you own so many domains?

Why do you think I have asked you both for help in developing websites and portals. I am not joking, if you want to partner (joint venture) lets get started.

i think you have too many domains!

So when are you going to partner with me EZ? I need some developers to build the sites out. Will trade ownership for labor 8O 8O 8O 8O 8O

Do you have any domains that you could host a search engine or directory on. I want to to take out google. With the right technology you could make millions.

www.searchsearchengines.com www.searchwar3.com www.searchworldwar.com www.searchvertical.com www.searchgoons.com www.searcheurozone.com www.searchexcel.com www.rssfeedsearch.com Think you could work with those?

So you bet the ranch on Cybersquatting?

Love the new look of the forum BK, looks like a change for the better. No cyber squatter, I want to build businesses, what do you think I keep telling these guys to get off of their ARSEs, but I have been telling EDWIN that for at least 6 months. He is starting to make progress with his keyword tool, that was great, I am just waiting for him to do something impressive with the SON site. Then I want him to build a few out for me to see if he really has it.

Searchexcel sounds the best. is your hosting PHP compatible?

Darksat may be your man. He certainly has some time on his hands.

Are you insinuating that I am not a busy productive person who leeds a full and hectic life. only another 3 hours to lunch.

Insinuating? Nah, I just said it :)

Thats Ok so. 8)

What hosting? Most of my names are being forwarded right now, did you click on any of them? Let me know what you have in mind, can you build a meta search portal?

Well I was thinking of a combination of killerinfo.com with a directory and weather and news feed. Its a big job and will take a long time to develop. I need to research building search engine technology & i was thinking of integrating smart learning chat bot technology to improve search results. I like the way killerinfo takes results from different engines. I also like the quick view technology and I have a few advanced ideas of my own as well. It will take me about 2 months to come up to speed and teach myself everyhing I need to know. meantime I think you should work on some promotion ideas. You mean a meta search engine or a portal that taps onto other engines backends? What are the capabilities of the host you have at the moment? Space, Bandwith, languages, ETC.

Meta Search like www.icerocket.com That is all most of these companies do is tap into existing databases from other engines. The world really does not need another search engine, if anything, vertical search is better with a focus on search groups (industry groups) sort of like a directory structure. You can also look into using API's from large companies to produce oddball services like. www.googlewar.com www.googlebattle.com

Well I know how to tap into another search engines results, but im sure you need permission. I was thinking of a hybred use the site to copy DMOZ and expand on it and build an internal search for that, then use a multisearch pad drop down to select another engine if you want. and have integrated news and weather that tracks your region and delivers relevant content. and possibly a chat bot just for handelling queries along with a chat service and I have a few more cute ideas.

There are a million things, but the most successful new sites are those with a simple interface and a novel new idea. That is why www.googlewar.com has got a lot of attention. Folks only hit a site for a few seconds, if you can not get them to interact in the first 15 seconds they will just leave. So you must club them on the head with your best idea on your home page, if that holds them they will always click on your other pages on return visits or bookmark the site and return later. So the original concept and the home page must get the user to interact quickly or you will lose them.

Thats when good design comes in. I can make a search page that loads in the blink of an eye and grabs the users attention. I know design and I know how to pull people in. am going to start playing around with some stuff on sunday when I recover from tonight and tomorrow.

Indexing the internet is pointless, thanks to Google. Leave the indexing to them and make useful applications like AnthonyCea mentioned. You can always make an engine that uses primarily Google results but offers a number of personalization tools.

I was thinking perhaps google with exclusion filters to take out the hilltop algo section, its quite easy.

If everyone was thinking the same as you DZ, we would all be doing what you are doing, just keep your mind open and keep trying new things. Something will come out of your Research and Development that is a winner. You gota throw a lot of ________ at the wall and hope something sticks. 8O

People love tools like you described, Darksat. Anything useful, or even funny could get a great number of natural links.
