Yo just want to increase your post count. admit it.
PR leak is just a theory...there is nothing that says because you link to a site, you lose PR...it is silly at best...google makes its living by following links to other sites...think logically about it.
all outgoing links transfer an amount of pr to the site they link to.

Thats the entire basis of PR REMF
shouldn't be hard to prove. two pages link. lets call them page a and page b. you would agree that page b would receive the benefit of pagerank transfer from page a. why wouldn't page a lose the value it transferred?
If you go and plug-up all your "PR leaks" then you might get a PR hording penalty from Google. I don't know if it's true, but something to think about...
That theory has never been proven. if your smart you would use 3 way linking with 3 sites.
[quote:3fc96860bc="edwin"]shouldn't be hard to prove. why wouldn't page a lose the value it transferred?[/quote:3fc96860bc] My only point was that it was a theory...I agree that in theory it seems like a page should lose PR, but one can't prove it unless you write the algo's for G :)
True enough. You can't really prove anything about Google. But I agree with Andrew2. Just hording all the PR would make a very artificial looking site that GOOG could probably deduce in seconds.
The secret is to link to sites that link to sites linking back to you. Dont do reciprical. Use 3 way linking. A little bleed is good for you. a lot is bad.

We do know for a fact that IBL's help with google...trade the proven for a theory? I'll keep reciprocal linking.
triangulars offer many advantages. they appear to be "one way" links so the anchor text gets a boost.
Site A links to site B which links to site C which links back to site A a perfect circle shaped like a triangle 8)
