It is a fight over self-rule as it has always been throughout history. One tribe (nation) will not be ruled unjustly by another. If they are, then the elders will always plot to go to war. These folks want the Russians out of their homeland and that is why they are fighting for an independent state. There is also a war, Arab World versus "The West", so-called Anglo/Christian/Jewish world. Really a fight over money and power and oil and land. The same thing men have been fighting for since the dawn of time. Many say to trust God, but men trust in money more than God, so we continue to fight wars.

Yes I feel for them that suffered, but the big picture is this, groups that feel oppressed by these large governments are attacking large governments. Russia is a large government as is the UK, Spain, France, Germany, Japan, China and the USA. We have a war in IRAQ going on, 7 Marines died yesterday in a car bomb, Bush can not stop the war, they reported today that we will be in IRAQ for another 5 years. We will have to spend Billions to keep the disaster going. We will need the help of NATO and the UN to get out of this mess, more big government needed. So more attacks on our troops will come everyday. What about the poor kids in Africa that are being driven out to the desert fleeing from Arabs that are burning their villages? These guys are moving into Africa from places that we chased them from, killing innocent people everyday. Hate is the problem Oneill, man does not know how to rule himself, never has, so these problems will continue until the end. God save us all, because we WILL bomb ourselves back into the stone age with all of our advanced technology. Maybe you should make a documentary about this if you are mad Oneill; it would do well to wake some folks up 8O Basically you would need to edit films together from different sources, get the film makers to donate their footage to you, if you give them credit, many organizations would contribute footage to you.

I get euronews & CNN and a lot of international news and I fond that the american news is a lot more insular and covers a much narrower range of topics than the rest of the world. I have talked to a lot of americans who after living abroad for a while agree. same with the pledge of alligence. it is designed to instill patriotism in kids so they will go off and die for thier country. thats why so many americans are so nationalistic. social preconditioning & programming.
You guys need to wake up and look at facts, this world is moving into a one-world government. The UN and NATO and the EU will lead this one world government. This government will want to identify its citizens with a microchip to keep track of the "so-called friendly citizens" and to keep out the enemy. We are there already so law and order will break down and economic depression will be caused by all of this war. We are in WW3 right now, the following article will show that the EU, including Germany and Russia are now in the thick of the troubles in the world. Remember that some of the 9/11 highjackers were living in the US and Germany before the attacks. Spain got hit hard and that effected their Presidential race, there are big problems with the "so-called Mid-east peace plan". Israel is building a wall to keep folks out as they build their exclusive little island. Iran is building its defenses up and will continue to cause problems in Iraq, the US is getting in the quicksand of war in Iraq and will need NATO to solve the problems and police the country if the west wants to continue to try to control that war zone. Most aren't prepared for life, even fewer for their death. The whole world is bankrupt, and superstars have the money. They laugh in everyones faces about how easy life is, and most of them appear to be no great shakes. There are solutions, but nobody ever thinks outside of the box. Nuclear plants were built before or shortly after my birth. They suck. Why not harness wind and water to help produce energy? Why not make solar powered cars? Because too many things are operational. Highways aren't built to handle traffic, they were laid in the mid 1900's. No one had the VISION to see the changes that would occur. Now it impossible to replan and rebuild these highways without seriously disrupting traffic. Same thing goes for the electric grid. I don't even know when that was built and planned, but we saw a complete power outage and how do you upgrade electrical grids?
So the Industry leaders want to build more Nuclear power plants, but they can not manage the ones they have now safely, nor can the government deal with toxic waste that they create. Oh, they have a plan to put it all on rail cars and move it all to Yucca Mountain, yes, just store this stuff underground for 100,000 years. This waste never will be safe.
