Or else when you finish surfing press CTRL H to open the history view. right click on the day and select delete. then close the history window and main window.
Raven, I thought that would do it too, but it still records the day's activities under the "history" option. Darksat, I've been doing that, but I had hoped there was a way around it. I'll keep that going. Thanks!
i used do what raven said or else just clear history when finished....things you do when your young
...things you learn when you are 40...
you can drop a few bucks on a program to do it.
you could search for a reg hack on regedit.com
8O Yeah, right...you'd have to do it for me.
You could use this http://www.crazybrowser.com/index.htm its a modified frontend for explorer that has the option to clear his on exit along with some other cool features. I use Opera myself. http://www.opera.com you can clear cache, typed adresses and temp files on exit. Much better program.
Excellent! Thanks!
now you can sneak around!
The possiblities are endless...
With your newfound ability to surf for porn annonomously we can take over the World, muahahahahahah, mental note, work on evil laugh. has anyone seen BK recently?
Not recently. Think he got abducted?
The good thing is no one is here to catch me if I wanted to surf porn... that would care anyhoo, but you never know when someone is gonna catch you shopping online...I wish it were more devious than that.. BTW, the evil laugh sounds like The Joker from here..
i hear that. privacy is a very good thing.
Yeah and there's hardly a way to have it even though we think we do.
If your looking for some good files, try here http://www.spychecker.com/software/cookie.html

privacy is an illusion!
I tried that line once but they still called it indecent exposure.
[quote:8a1f6e958e="edwin"]privacy is an illusion![/quote:8a1f6e958e] It's a false sense of security. Now we are photographed everywhere we go. How embarrassing.
[quote:94169f4e41="darksat"]I tried that line once but they still called it indecent exposure.[/quote:94169f4e41] Were you flashing them and telling them it was a figment of their imaginations?
im worried about identity theft.
[quote:5fe8a1b265="edwin"]im worried about identity theft.[/quote:5fe8a1b265] Yeah, its getting easier & easier.
i have email alerts on for all my personal information
[quote:2797950ae1="edwin"]i have email alerts on for all my personal information[/quote:2797950ae1] How are you doing this? If I had any kind of identity a thief would want, I would be more concerned. As it is, I think it's scary as hell.
in any of your online accounts, check the "personal settings" boxes. they should have a place to send alerts!
I just never use real/full info
I'll do that, Edwin. You know, it's always fun til someone gets hurt. I don't usually put all my info in either, but I am guilty of doing it too much.
2nd part of this history info.... I have friend with AOL. How does she clear her history? I cannot remember one thing about AOL (thank God).
When you sign on with AOL you can still use an alternate browser like opera or just use I.E, you dont have to use the AOL one.

The most secure computer is one thats not connected to the internet. thats why i recommend AOL?
[quote:c439d218ca="darksat"]The most secure computer is one thats not connected to the internet. thats why i recommend AOL? [/quote:c439d218ca] :D :D Frickin' A!!
AOLs inbuilt security features will stop even the most determined hacker from accessing your computer. the advanced cut off feature will shut of your net connection if someone attempts to hack in by cutting out if more than 2 programs run at the same time.
It's hard to believe there are still millions of people on AOL.
Damn, I'd rather have 14 virus/firewall/anti-trojan programs than AOL. It's a big firewall that slows everything down too much. DSL or Cable might be wasted with it.
Even with AOL its still recommended to have 14 virus/firewall/anti-trojan programs. or should I say especially.
Yes, to be so safe, I just instructed a friend in how to remove spyware. She found 428 with Adaware alone. She was amazed. She thought AOL protected against anything.
if you could erase peoples history offline you would make a lot of money.
[quote:1fab3e35a5="edwin"]if you could erase peoples history offline you would make a lot of money.[/quote:1fab3e35a5] ??? What. Explain that to me again, ive just woken up.
say a guy accidentally killed his wife in a car accident. i bet he would want a "take back" for that one. if you could offer such a service you would make a lot of dough :P
You mean a time machine? where did this come from?
This sounds like Groundhog Day. :D
This sounds like edwin is loosing his marbles.
are you upset that jack daniels has lowered the proof
The bastards, im a pints, sambouka & shatrouce man myself though.
second time in 30 years they lowered the alcohol content! drunks everywhere are organizing for a protest.
They hope to double their sales I guess. Personally, I'm an Absolut' or Stolis girl. :D
what happens when you get drunk? are you a girl gone wild? :P
OMG, Edwin! I'm fairly mellow now, but a few years ago...eek! If some guy tried to film me the way they do those bimbo college girls, I would go wild shoving that camera up his keester. :D
lol. probably a good idea in most cases.
Yeah, because can you imagine how they are gonna feel in 10 years and that "drunk sorority girl" video is everywhere? 8O
