you need to use spyware remover programs in tandem for maximum effectiveness. same with anti virus.
I had to uninstall that service pack because my puter was barely able to function after that update. I guess I'll have to waste more time online :evil:
Buy a MAC, that is what I am going to do. Brigid, sounds like your computer may be an old one if it could not handle the update. Mine did fine, but I am still going to buy a MAC laptop for my next one.
Nope. Brand new in November of last year, so although a little aged, not old by any stretch. I will go ahead and do it sometime today. I'm not sure why I had so many problems with it the last time. Hopefully this one will go better..
Sometimes the code can be corrupted or not downloaded properly. My PC days are coming to an end, my next box will be a MAC laptop, you know that you can plug in keyboards and such to a laptop to convert it into a desktop if you want. The best of both worlds, a better OS, plus a laptop. :idea:

my browsing is going real slow since i did the update to service pack 2 :(
I had to upgrade in work, but I dont see the need on my home PC, I never use any affected programs anyway, I dont trust microsoft patches, they fix 3 problems & create another 2. our external harddrive in work wont work any more after the service pack 2 upgrade. really messed up my day.
