Obviously Google doesn't only show back links of 4 or more. Otherwise we wouldn't be seeing ones that are under 4.
maybe the link command is right, the pages are pagerank 4 and the toolbar pagerank is wrong
Maybe google just like messing with us all!! You'd think tho Edwin, that they would make sure that their bar is correct.. otherwise a TON of people would panic right???
I go with the theory that the ToolBar PageRank is not accurate. My guess is that when those backlinks showed up, they were already counted as PageRank 4 pages but the ToolBar still shows zero. The ToolBar is broken.
the broken toolbar makes the most sense. i still haven't heard a sufficient explanation of this.

I think google just randomly messes with ppl. Maybe they make their programs do random things so that when ppl try to figure them out they seem unpredictable.
one of my theories is that the data is sometimes "out of sync" between the many computers that make up google. that's why different people see different things.
looks like matrix28 is a 5 now on the -kr center. from a 7 to a 5! where are all the backlinks going?
I'm beginning to wonder if google is having severe internal issues... Maybe their computers got on a power trip and decided to mess with all our sanities?? :roll:

hang in there. i know how disappointed you must be. i can't figure out what backlinks they have been dropping but a lot of sites i visit are down. that sucks.
It seems like Google added a filter and filtered out multiple links from the same domain. That is undoubtedly having a huge effect right now.

Actually Tom, Dear... I think its the blue hair that does that :wink: But yes... it does completely suck... but unfortunantly its what happens when something like Google gets the power it gets... sometimes they do stuff that totally sucks...

Yeah. It "appears" it's a filter dropping links from the same IP. Probably an attempt to filter out: paid text links more than anything else.
I'm not sure about that. I think they got stricter on what they counted for backlinks. Maybe its because of domain or IP.
I dont know how long this should take but I have sites that are linked together and google doesnt even have those listed as back links ??
the way things have gone is this: first google finds the links. then their is a PR update. still doesn't show. then a second PR update comes and the backlinks show. this takes around 2 to 3 months total.
Still no one explained the main point of the theme: why does Google show links that are under PageRank 4?
Ashly... another thing ... besides waiting for google's updates... is that they may not be showing if they are all on the same IP... plus several of your sites are very similar... not to mention the text coloring and stuff I talked to you about.... all of those could be a factor in Google Indexing.. I've got hundreds of links out there google doesn't feel like indexing for me...and I've been waiting around 4-5 months....so .. believe me I know the frustration...
