That is enough moderators BK, yourself, Brigid and Raven are fine for the amount of traffic this forum has. You and the girls understand the forum and the nutcases and the issues of the forum well enough. We do not need more moderation than that, when a forum is over moderated it will be ruined. I would tell you 3 that you should communicate with each other before making any decisions to ban anyone or delete threads or posts. You could move the threads to a moderators forums if they are in bad taste, we have had some of those in the past (very bad threads), but I would say if the moderators agree that they stink, then we will all have to accept final judgments on the thread being removed. If you can start a thread making an announcement of the new management I am sure we would all welcome that.
There's very little moderation required. The main thing would be to move spam posts to the Offers and Request forums. Drive by postings are usually the only danger here. And the only one ever banned was MoneyMan or whatever his name was and it was primarily because his HTML was too large and his website sucked.
That is good, but it is a moderation post that you are looking to fill, if folks have the power to move posts they are moderators. You should let us know when and if this is an official thing. Why not delete the posts, why move them? If they are spam most forums simply delete the stuff or the thread itself. Like I mentioned, you should set up a moderators forum where threads or posts that are suspect could reside until you and your new moderators can make a decision on them. You might as well for the good of the forum do this, so that the forum members have some knowledge of simple posting rules at Web Mastery. It may improve the quality of the posts to know that Brigid and Raven are expecting good stuff from us. Even DarkSat and Edwin, maybe even Oneill will start making better posts, now that would be good for the forum. :lol: :lol: :lol: You will have to admit, if these guys know that girls are watching, they will do a hell of a lot better job, you can bet your ass on that. 8O 8O

Well, BK will make ongoing changes to the forum, he will have to. It is good to have a thread like this to get everything out in the open, BK will have to come up with a policy on all of this and post it. Brigid, what is acceptable is whatever the management (moderators) decide in conjunction with administration (BK). But there has to be some framework for this function to work and I do not think BK has one yet. That is why I am trying to make suggestions right now to help him. I guess we will have to fire up the old "Brigid and Raven fan club" again, WOW :lol: :lol: :lol:
lol this forum is very laid back and almost anything goes, which is why we have such a good time here. BK mainly wanted someone around to get rid of those spammers who post the same ad 25 times throughout the board.
That is good Raven, but I think BK should to do a bit more than that as the forum will grow and will be better managed if he can install some better management.
Maybe we can cross that bridge when we get to it. What sort of parameters were you thinking, BigT?
