I am noticing new pages and traffic today. That is always a happy day :)
I wonder if google didn't do a recent update of their pr.. I've noticed many pages staying the same but noticed a few dropping down from a 4 to a 3. What about anyone else?
i see a lot of fluctuations recently. they are adding tons of new pages to the index so it must be affecting overall pagerank.
I havnt seen that many SERPS changes yet, I think they are getting ready for a change though.
i saw a few bad things happen this week. there are a lot more amazon listing pages than usual dominating a lot of spots.
Yeah, google has been scraping A9, MSNs new search has been scraping Google and everyone is fighting to get a bigger index.
They have finally updated the number of pages indexed. You could see that one coming for sure. If the internet just keeps growing and your index can't handle it, it puts you behind in the technology. If you want to be number one, you have to be at the top of your game. I think this is what Google is trying to do. I have saw hybrid results for a while..I think they are still trying to figure out how all of these new pages relate to the old, or previous index. And then rank as such... We'll see what happens. It's Friday and WMW hosts their big convention next week. Sounds like a good time to rock the webmaster community! :oops: :oops: :oops:
it's a super big index now, but its a lot of crap. lots of "supplemental results" pages.
i guess time will tell for what google.com has instore for us online gurus'. I can only imagine what december is going to look like in google.com.
I would guess some sort of festive logo and a SERPS shakeup.
definitley the festive logo. soon there will be a turkey where one of the "o"s
