Reducing file size of pictures in frontpage

good question and one that many people run into. you probably want to get your hands on a good graphics editor like paint shop pro. in such programs you can easily manipulate the file size. keep in mind, the smaller the better is always the rule for web design.

Jason, I agree with Edwin.. PSP Pro.. is definantly the way to go.. you get a 30 day trial on it... Don't set compression to high..generally just saving them in PSP and keeping the size a max of 300 either direction and you are pretty good...
