Colors of Geek Valley

I like the logo...Very fun and colorful... Don't be mad at the next part.. you did ask! I can't figure out what my feelings are on the green... if its the fact there is no contrast or what... Too much green maybe? Take this site for example... The background blue is a very dark, soothing, non invasive color .. and the gray added to that...with the interior highlights being another very soothing color, several shades lighter .. you've chosen very bright eye catching colors for outside and in... my concern is that, tho nice colors on their own.. they blend way to well and is too disconcerting to the eye... Maybe try slightly different shades of green?? the background being more dark... and the interior being along the medium scale? Otherwise.. I think it will be a cool site!

The logo is perfect, just adorable! The colors for me are great, this is what I expected when I visited Geek Valley, loud and funky (fun)! If the colors are bothering you by all means take fpworld advice. I love the Spam Box, someone has a sense of humor! Best Wishes, Giselle :wink:

Nice job on the logo! Just what I think of when I see the word "geek" I'm torn on the color scheme.. Green is my favorite color in the whole world, so I'm not "against" it.. maybe a little less flourescent? As FPworld stated, maybe just notch it down a hair to make it more palatable to the eye? Hope my input is helpful!

I thought the design was excellent! However, I agree there wasn't much contrast...but I don't feel that it's a big issue on this logo. I really think it's one of the better logos I've ever seen -- just it's so unusuall and still downright good. I've never really seen many green logos out there!
