kanoodle traffic

the link goes to a link that explains that version of the "hotbar" is outdated. its some weird toolbar thing. not sure where the ads display.

To say the least that's very fishy! When all of the traffic originates from one place I would be concerned.

thats completely bunk! i checked out that toolbar page and it appears it is some sort of email program i cant even visualize where the ad would be in there. not good at all.

The big problem is their use of affiliates. Any search type feature on the internet that uses affiliates is bound to be inundated with fraud. Webmasters are some of the most clever folks out there and will write scripts to keep clicking away. If you watch the PPC traffic from the low end companies like Kanoodle and Ah-Ha you will see a number of clicks which can't possibly be human. They will generally pull the page but not even pull a single image file. Or if you install more impressive tracking software you will see their "visit" on your site is incredibly short. "They" will almost never click on any other page than the main one. You are better off flushing your money down the drain that paying these companies.

i agree luthor. the affiliates themselves are probably clicking.

What a sad and pathetic way to make a living. Many of them write little programs to aid them in their theft. Ah well.

kanoodle is a rip. boycott kanoodle!

[quote:faa7b8e711="fourtimesfriendly"]kanoodle is a rip. boycott kanoodle![/quote:faa7b8e711] you, of course, have discovered the truth, as have countless others. they use affiliates so the level of traffic is suspect. much of the traffic comes from pop-ups and pop-unders, shady redirects and the like. that's why your "visitor" never gets past the first page. he/she doesn't know why they're there in the first place. save your money from using smaller PPCs and put the bulk of it into directory submissions and targeted google adwords.
