First Month in Adsense

You're telling me... in 1 week... of Adsense vs Position in the top 10.... For me.. AdSense: 7 days - 8000+ impressions - 400 click thru's - a lot of money paid out - 4 sales total from Google.... (Hoping and Praying it was due to a holiday week!!!) Top 10 - 10 days - Unknown Impressions - 65% of traffic from Google - 3-4 new inquiries per day and 2-5 sales per day... I am sure Google AdSense will help some .. and raise a lot of people's hit counts..... and possibly even their business... But it a "dog eat dog" category like mine... it doesn't seem to do much.. I want that filter gone and to be back in the top places...I don't care.. I'll leave adsense running even while in the top 10... just on the off chance it does bring in more because its seen 2x! ... but nothing replaces your Rank # in the search engines...

I just had a brain freeze.. I've been working for 18-20 hours a day here for over a week, had inlaws and everything.. It just dawned on me I meant AdWords.. You said adSense... things sound the same.. I got confused.. Ignore my post LOL

I'm guilty of the same thing. I have gotten them confused too.. wasn't sure, so wanted to say something. :D

keep in mind: certain phrase convert into sales better than other phrases. some time quantity of traffic doesn't mean a whole lot.

Thats very true... altho yesterday we seemed to do pretty well.. maybe it was just the holiday week hurting us... *crossing fingers* I can hope

The Thanksgiving week is NOT going to be a good week for e-commerce. Site traffic is down. Plus people are in relaxing mode, not buying mode. This week should see an increase in amount and quality of traffic.

or they are busy doing things offline.. when you have family and friends home for the holidays, computing in general probably falls to the wayside. it isn't the same to do ALL of your shopping online!!

People want beer, Turkey, and football. Especially on Thansgiving :)

Give me some turkey, MAYBE a beer.. and everyone else can have the football! :lol:
