Gimpsy's home page has a PR 6 and some of our internal pages have PR 4. I remember the day when all internal pages were 0 :) raven

How long does it take to get listed in Gimpsy?
Hi Bling, We have free and paid submission options but neither one guarantees a site will be included in the directory. The 40.00 paid submission does guarantee your site will be reviewed within 72 hours (or you get all your money back), and if it's not suitable, you get a partial refund of 20.00. Because of the large amount of free submissions we receive daily, which are done on a first come first served basis, they currently have a waiting time of about 4 months.
I'm glad the site is so active that you have that much demand! Do you look for topic editors?
Bling, Thanks for the positive feedback! Unlike most other directories, Gimpsy is not run by volunteers. All editors get paid for the work they do and we are not hiring at this time :)

Hmm, no, not really, other than that is where the CEO/founder lives. Gimpsy is a global directory and the editors are from all over the world.

Anyone seen my directory, PeekABoo.net? It has been online forever (1995) and has been idle until recently. I am working on importing DMOZ data into it as well as accepting submissions. It has a PR of 5 at the moment. I guess that is a good starting point considering that this is kinda of new project. I would be intersted in trading links with other similarly PR rated quality sites. Been trying to get listed in Gimpsy since I submitted on August 1st. I guess that'll teach me for using basic submit! :( The wow directory is good for a backlink as is ski-jungle.com. Both are showing up as bl on G. Not good for pr, but I have gotten some traffic from Ski-jungle too so I'm not complaining. You can change your submission from free to paid if you want to. If you've registered, just log in and click on 'view a list of my suggestions'. You'll see the option in there. Ok ok, I need to get back to work now! :)

Me too, but I look at it this way. Most are free, and if I get even one visitor out of it, then it was worth my time.
