Google Employees Posting on Public Forums

I don't know that Google would allow them to act in a public capacity like that... not unless they are major high up on the food chain... What is said in there is an act of representing Google and therefore Google can be liable... :? I don't know why Google would allow someone, especially now, to venture out into the world of webmasters knowing how bad they are going to get slammed.... seems like a pretty dumb and crazy move .. unless they truly are high up in the food chain and want to try and rescue themselves...

isn't it also a violation of TOS for that matter? I thought that was part of the terms. You can not openly discuss what kind of $$ or any other specifics of their program.

It's only a violation if you are a member of AdSense... I believe Google (if that is who they are) is allowed to discuss it... However, if the people in there asking questions start doing so, they may end up like Searchey...

These guys are not acting at their own will. I think they were "sent" by Google to quiet things down a little. Andrey

problem is.. they will not quiet things down.. it will send a larger panic and a brass of questions... due to the fact that people will hold on to the only "contact" they have with Google...

It just doesn't seem like something the arrogant Google would do. Why would the bother placating a message board of webmasters? And why only one message board? Hugo reps for JoeAnt on all of them.

Either A. They are BS B. Google is playing "favorites" and only going to a board they deem valuable or C. They are BS Google maybe trying to placate some webmasters to try and control the panic sweeping webmasters.... or they are low end google bottom feeders that think they are doing the right thing... when they truly aren't and are risking their jobs?!... It could be a million and one reasons.... I did like how the people on that board were like .. "treat him with respect.." blahblahblah.. yeah.. because they know people are ANGRY...

Yeah. If they do work for Google I'm pretty sure it's not in an executive capacity. Could just be "wannabes" as silly as that sounds :)

I don't think its silly.. I think you're probably right... I just don't, like you said, see google putting out a couple of people on 1 forum.. if they are going to do it.. they'll do it "Google Style" which is [b:a026718247]BIG[/b:a026718247]...

I don't understand why Google doesn't just start their own forum if these are really google people. Not everyone who uses adwords or adsense (whatever that is) knows about this other forum so all those people will be left in the dark. It'd be much easier for Google to have their own forum that they can advertise on google rather than using a webmaster forum. I don't get it either.. raven

Raven....I don't think they are overly concerned with satisfying everyone.... and because of how illogical that one forum is.. is why we believe they are not high end Google employees ... Google always tries to be logical if nothing else... i just don't see this as their move
