Webhosts that I think are good from a consumer point of view

I use PowWeb for my dads account, which I leech off of! I really need to buy my own package/domain but my mom wont sign the check! *sighs*

that's not cool... *ponders* why would she not? Is not the internet a place where we young people can learn to gain responsibility and build something constructive? I mean, would she rather have you watch TV or something all day? Or play video games? *ponders some more*

Thanks for the info, I'm fairly happy where i am though. :-D except for the PHP but Tom is going to help me there.
