whats good to sell online?

Diamonds = Competition from a billion and one people.... Its a hard question.... but a good one... it depends on what your knowledge base is... the more you know about what your selling.. i think the better you are

You need something that isn't that price sensitive. Avoid any field filled with discounters.

Many people make money online by selling air  I am not joking. What did I do with Stormex? I sold air... All you need are good marketing skills and you will be able to sell crap to people if you market it correctly. They will even run around, telling people what a nice deal on crap they got lately. Its all about the way you present things, thats whats important. If you know how to do that then it doesn't really matter what kind of product you are selling.

selling crap is something i bet i would be good at. hopefully i can buy it cheap and sell it high!

you can make a lot of money selling pimp jewelry online.

Believe it or not make ANYTHING yourself and you're able to charge a lot more... I've seen some UGLY stuff sold online for a lot of money!! There are a billion and one things you can sell online that people as impulse buyers will buy it tends to make you shake your head.... A year or two ago .. I actually came across a site that sold a bottle of air (literally just a mini bottle that was corked)... It stated "just regular air" "no real health help" just buy it... they sold it for like 2-3$.. and people really did buy it.... People have sold tap water... You can sell anything on the internet it seems ... as long as you do it with fun, smarts and the right market!

i am going to invent something clever that everyone wants.

Hehehe, Al Gore invented the internet. How much did he get?

I agree with one thing: If you can actually produce the item yourself, it is probably the best thing you can do. It's always tough to run a business based on third parties. What happens if one of the parties you rely on is unreliable. Then you end up taking the brunt of the criticism from the customers. If you make or at least stock the product yourself, you can at least be sure that you will deliver it when you say you will.
