i like it! here comes the boom! ready or not! here comes the boys from the south!
I like POD! Go POD! wooo-hooo! I even like the BG, good job ^-^ I may use it .... except my parents....? I need my own computer >.<
yeah! you need to get a job!
[quote:4b4a157836="edwin"]yeah! you need to get a job![/quote:4b4a157836] I bet he's not alone in that :P
i need a job, im 15 and full of .... nothing much. SO i'm not sure what I'll do ^-^ lol. I need money despretely.
If you are a hearty lad, then summer is coming up and you could seek outdoor employment. If you are less suited to outdoor activity you could seek employ in a dining establishment.
Actually I made that by myself. :) Thanks everyone!
That is an excellent image file Freddy. What program did you make it in?
Thankyou! I used PhotoShop CS.
Let me say "good job!" once again, that is a nice picture!
yeah freddy has some talent. maybe you can take an art class or something.
What kind of art class do you have in mind? I would like to, but what kind do you think that I would benefit from most? Thanks for the comments guys!
Probably start with the most basic one. That way you build your foundation on the basics. Since you are already handy with the computer and Photoshop, you could probably benefit a lot from truly learning Art. That way you have the best of both worlds for skills: you are an artist who knows how to use the computer.
OK. You mean like a regular art class? Like drawing and that kind of thing? Cool. Thanks for the suggestions.
Sure. Take a regular one first. So you learn all the old school basics. Then take a class on computer graphics or visual design or anything. Realistically, you could probably get better than 90% of people in a year or so with some practical training. And you could an intern job at a graphics design or web design company and get on the job training.
OK Cool. Thanks alot.
Nice job! I like POD. They are a pretty cool band. It's hard edged Christian Rock. It reminds me of Stryper. Makes me feel like the 80's were a long time ago..
freddy already has his own web business. i say he should drop out of school and do designs! the best teacher is experience.
Thanks Brigid! Yea I love Christian bands that know that it's fine to rock hard. Actually edwin, I am homeschooled so I have ALOT of time to the computer, so I get lots of practice, my only problem right now is not having anything to make. lol Thanks again everyone, I think this is the best web-master forum. :)
I was homeschooled for untill high school. I find that most home schoolers are really good at computers. Probably cause it's the only good way to keep in touch with the outside if you don't like to waste time on the phone. I was so bored in Jr. High as a home schooler... hope you like it better, but at least i found it beneficial if not fun.
Yea I really like homeschooling. It gives me lots of time to work on my site and stuff. :)
i was regular schooled my whole life :P
Edwin do you know how un-PC that comment was ^-^ the school councelor let that [regular school] slip and apologised profusely. It was funny.
LOL. I call public school regular school. lol

LOLOLOLOLOL
Yea it is certainly getting to be more and more.
I was publicly schooled, home schooled and schooled by life :)
Nothin better then trial and error!
This is true. Ya know, I think everybody learns a differant way, and some people need a differant way of being schooled... and some people can teach themselves, some people need to learn something differant (screw biology, learn PHP!) and I think it's great we have so many options. Don't you guys think?
Yes, I figured out just about everything that I can do on the computer by myself. We have eight people in our family, and when someone needs help on the computer(even my parents), instead of yelling 'daaaaaad' it's 'Aleeeeeex'. Some people need to go to school for years to figure out how to use the internet(and anything on the computer), and then some people like me and I'm sure alot of you here just decided to figure it out ourselves. Sure all of us here are all probably complete computer nerds, or are on there way to becoming one, but we also are the ones that will rule the future. Well that really had nothing to do with education but it was fun to type.lol
^-^ as I tell my friends, I am NOT a geek.... I am THE geek. Get it right :-D it is funny how some people natrually can get computers...and some can't. I think it's a sychological thing.
you got to be kidding me. i'm so geeky i scare myself! :P
LOL. I'm probably only about semi-geeky. LOL. Almost full.lol
Keep working on it and you can become a full geek soon. The main thing that stops you from being a complete geek is having other interests. If you're more well rounded you won't be quite as bad as people like Edwin who probably hasn't left his room in years!
LOL. Yea the one thing that keeps me from being a complete geek is playing the drums. If I didn't play then I would be on the computer all the time! LOL
The problem with me is that my interests are on the computer. I record my guitar and swap music with friends (music), talk to people on the internet, play, work, peer to peer games, i get my news on the internet, i email my senators on the internet, i use the direct conections on AIM instead of the phone, i do my h/w on the internet...i just kina...my other interests invariably get me back on my computer ^-^. Other interests didn't much help me :-D I mean, seriously, i play guitar a lot...but i'm always in the comfort of the computer room :)
Not to get off topic, but what do you use to record your self on the computer?
