Let's make sure we have this right? You want to pull the text from a stored text file and then display it in front of the image or on the image?

do you mean like a background? That's easy enough...what's it got to do with PHP though? Reiterate the question please :) If it is a background all you have to do is simply set the image as the background of a html file which you can paste the text into and then format the HTML way.

Set the image as a background (put it in a table if you have too). And then have php echo the text you need displayed.
