that makes complete sense. affiliate links are a VERY good source of back links. you may actually want to use .htaccess to chop those referral codes. let me give that a little thought and get back to yoou.

Google should have no problem reading the session ids. It will read the link up that point and then ignore it so those links should all count as backlinks. An Affiliate Program is a definite way to provide Link Popularity as well as traffic on its own.

I concur with my associate. The more links you can generate from the affiliate program the better. It should give your site a decent boost, especially if you choose the wording of the anchor text carefully (make sure it is the primary phrase you are optimizing for).
