Thanks for the advice Edwin. I have got to the bottom of this thanks to the Forum at OutFront. The problem was I didn't have a Java development environment installed on my work PC. I thought that MS Visual Studio's J# would have done this, but obviously not. Anyway I have downloaded the latest JRE from Sun and hey presto, everything works now.
