spamming is going to be harder? hmm. i guess they've been tweaking the algo!
This is a term that scares the heck out of me. If I have a site about garages, the word garage is going to appear a lot. If we use no hidden meta tags, hidden text, etc, are we safe??
if its on-topic the word should appear. i thinks its more a matter of how it appears somewhat spammy would be: garage, garage door, garages, grages better: the best garage we could find had a nice door. as long as they are complete sentences you can't get in trouble.
[quote:e69b580355="edwin"] somewhat spammy would be: garage, garage door, garages, grages [/quote:e69b580355] That's spam? Are we talking about metatags? Cause I do that in my metatags to try and cover all my bases for misspellings by searchers etc....
The meta keywords tag has to be keywords seperated by commas. The title and description tags should be complete sentences. I think you should contain the mis-spellings. That is helpful to the searcher. You can also place the mis-spelling on the pages. Place the text and say, garages, garage, etc and list them as related keywords. If you make a page on each one of those, you should rank easily. It's always a good idea to pick the low-hanging fruit
i re-read my post and it wasn't real clear :) the keywords have to be seperated by commas.
Spam that gets you banned: NOTHING! I've seen the same pages in two keywords for a year now. They use hidden text and spammy re-directs and their positions never change, not even after Florida.
You guys believe Google is anti spam, when they are spamming themselves by promoting ADSENSE sites in the SERP's see it yourselves on your own screen at http://www.webcenter.squarespace.com your thinking that Google is anti spam and falling for their lies really makes me wonder..........
I can't say they're anti-spam. I wouldn't put too much past Google.
