hiya, my site is very html. i used a brilliant teach yourself book by macbride. it cost seven pounds. i only joined yesterday, and it looks like im already generating some answers...........so, if i can, you can too! MARK.
you don't have to learn everything at once. just take your time and learn a little bit every day. rome wasn't built in a day and neither is a great website.

I have to ask you.. Do you do well with your product? It sounds like something that is kind of unique, and might have a bit of some demand.. And if it's homemade, that is even better.

We have lots of people that know we make them and have free samples that we keep full at a number of Vet offices. I have had lots of trouble getting my website listed on Google, so only people that know about the website are using it. I wish it was a product that is new and unique. But, there are LOTS of companies that make them. It all depends on your dogs tastes which ones are best.
but you're a home operation that makes unique homemade dogtreats. You are actually quite unique when you think about it. This is especially true if you can get a national bussiness through this site.

Most companies that claim to have homemade treats (like those at the big pet store chains) are factory made. We make them right from our home oven. We do well locally, but I was hoping that the website would get us noticed nationally. I still have trouble getting listed on the search engines. Right now it's just word of mouth.
there are lots of good ways to get on search engines. Are you not there at all or just really low down? What keywords are you trying to secure a high spot in?

I even used the website name as a keyword, kaviksbarkery.com. I'm not sure why it's not listing. Oh, I looked at my website stats and noticed I had 3 hits (2 yesterday and 1 today) by WebRescuer Spider and Googlebog?, but it didn't give me much information. Does that mean anything?
