the best thing you can do is post your url to this thread.
that will get you crawled by all the search engines and your pages will show up in them soon enough. you can also swap links with sites of a similar nature than yours and the spiders will follow the links and add you.
but if you want your pages to be found at the top of search engines, you need to start targeting key words and optimizing your pages for them.
the first thing you want to do is really clearly define what your page is about.
Definitely skip those pages that offer to submit to thousands of engines. Generally the engines they submit to offer very little traffic.
Submit your site to DMOZ.org. Also do link exchanges between similar websites.
