Sounds like it may be a technical issue. AdSense should have no problem determining what a page is. Did you modify your robots.txt at all?
I do have a robots.txt and it has teh necessary parts to allow the google bot to scrub my website. The only problem is i read that google has trouble with the .php extension. I am looking inot how to change this. I still have no idea how it is getting the current ads. It is now displaying domain name registering.
Look in your /includes/ subdirectory for PHP Nuke. There's a file called meta.php By default the file has keywords for PhpNuke related stuff. Change the Keyword and Description Tags for the content of your site and that should make a difference.
i have already changed this, the reason google is messing up is because the indexed version of my site on google's servers is out of date. Google emailed me and said it could take 3-4 weeks for their servers to reindex my site.
That's interesting info to know. Even though the mediabot knows what the site is about they base results on the old info? I never knew that.
That's definitely news. On a new page, Google can determine what the page is if you hit refresh 3 times. So they must rely on information from their cache. Maybe it's an anti-spam measure.
how did you even get adsense to show up in phpnuke? i am curently trying to change my wesite to phpnuke, but cannot get adsese to show up, it tells me the tag are not supported, or something like that? henry

Ive tried to place the scirpt for the google ads in varous place at the footer, in moduals, ect.. every time i get an error code :The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed: Im brand new to php, ive learned a little bit of .cgi. the php nuke is installed automaticaly on the server via fantastico ive also tried other php program such as php website geek log ect.. all give me the same error? thanks for the help henry m
Download a block called block_GoogleAdsense.php You add that through the Block Interface for the Admin. Enable it and there you are.
