I wouldn't sweat it for Ask Jeeves anyway. If you check out the navigation of Ask.com you'll see that pretty much only the Sponsored Results can even be seen. The sponsored click throughs are actually sold through Google Adwords and usually the traffic isn't that great. Imagine a poor idiot typing in a long question like: "How do I learn more about the history of tennis shoes?" Jeeves will respond with the site that bought the keyword "Nike" or "tennis shoes" on AdWords. Not too much integrity in those results.
ask.com search results come from teoma, which is another pretty weak search engine.
Teoma is the only one I don't rank in. Hopefully they just die.
*raises eyebrows* That's insane, askjeeves always seemed like a decent search engine, but i haven't used it too much.
AskJeeves is "Search for Dummies". :P
It's cool though :) i love jeeves :-D he looks funny on holidays :-D
Well AskJeeves had over $300 million to spend so they must be doing something right.
Its just good branding, thats all.
Actually I have heard that Ask does very well in the UK. That's probably where most of the ad cash is coming from. They say it does as well as G there. ___________________ Visit the most comprehensive Las Vegas Real Estate and Henderson Real Estate website online. My main problem with Ask.com is the crappy results. And the loser butler doesn't help much either.
