Still not in google

all you have to do to get in google is get one site that's already in google to link to you. Trade links with people! My site's not even listed in directories yet and my site popularity is increasing by 100% each month! it's doubling every single month just because I work pretty hard looking for reciprocal links. btw my site is http://www.f-w-r.com great Webmaster resource. needs more ppl in the forums though...

that is the simple truth. any link followed from a site thats already indexed will get you spidered too. just drop your link off at websites that have a similar theme.

Submit your link in the web links section. This site will be in the next Google update, so your site will get spidered from the Links page.

I'm in Google, sort of. At least some of my pages are but not all.

My site popped up in Google about 5 minutes after I launched it, because I used a program that submits your site to most major engines. This is the best way to get in quick, although linking works just as well.

There is no program that submits to google, and google updates but once a month(read their faq it's a continuous 1 month cycle of their spiders indexing sites).... If you go to google's site and find a link to submit a site it takes you to DMOZ.org which takes a long time to get listed in, and usually takes more than one submition. Any major search engine takes time to get into, usually about a month, sometimes a little shorter, sometime waaay longer. In my opinion automatic search engine submitters are actually the worse way to get in period. In some cases it's possible to actually harm your ranking. Especially if say you've already submitted to yahoo or other popular search engines manually, and then you use an autosubmitter it could send two submitions to yahoo. If you over submit to a site it's possible to be penalized and have further submitions permanantly disregarded.

The easiest way to get in Google is to be linked from a site that's already in there. The next time GoogleBot shows up, he will eat up the link and your site will get spidered!
