using THE in a url

good question. can't see why it would. some people have complained of 3 keyword domains going down in the rankings but i tend to doubt there is a problem. i will do some searches and see if i can determine anything.

Is this going to be used in a dashed domain? I think it might be a bad idea. It's a "stop word" for sure. If its in the domain name with a dash I don't think it would matter at all.

that should work fine. im not sure the is even a stop word anymore. i can search for "the" on google and get 5.6 billion results. there is no way this could hurt, imho

Domain names don't seem to have as big of an influence as they used to. And why should they? Only being able to optimize a site for one phrase seems sort of pointless anyway.
