No, they don't. Look around for an account with PHP and MySQL. You are really gonna need it for functionality.
geocities is horid, i used it a couple years...what an idiot i was. if you want to get a forum on your page at geocities, consider a remotely hosted one.
You are going to need a real host :) PhpBB2 is a great forum engine and I use it on several forums. Once you get a host if you need help getting it installed let me know. Pretty busy these days, but it only takes a few minutes to install.
