Looks like a technical issue to me. There's a big giant one here for the last day or so and before that the ads were well-targeted. The money cratered hugely in the last two days also so it looks like the targeting is way off. Probably an algo change for the server algo.
Its happening to me to..started today....they have always been dead on with matching ads to the relavence to my page. Im pretty sure they'd have no problem figuring out what my page is about...must be a fluke type deal....we'll see i guess.

Yeah. That's just what the world needs. A giant ugly ad that makes no money :) The webmasters are whining as usual, but this time they have a point. AdSense revenue was down to about 40% of normal levels this week. Pretty disappointing and a definite reminded that you can't put all your eggs in one basket. AdSense can increase revenue, but it can't be all you do.
True but they are still the best affiliate program out there. No matter how big or small you are, you can make some money with Adsense. Even low traffic sites can at least cover their hosting expenses. I do not know any other program that can do that at this point.
There is a German language ad displaying right now on here. I agree that AdSense is the main money maker for all small sites or content sites that have no business model.
Ad targeting is in the crapper bigtime. And this last update looks like a technical meltdown more than anything else.
