Adding things to the borders on my site

I hope someone can help me. I have blue borders around the outside of the main URL of my Web site. Does anyone have any ideas how I can place buttons, banners, links, etc.....to these borders? I have some things right on the front page, but I think it would look neater and I would have much more room if I could add them to the border areas. I have seen other sites that do this and would like to do this too. Thanks so much for any input anyone can give me! :D

:welcome what you describe should not be a problem. use the img tag like this: [code:1:a2abeb9c17] <img src="/images/help.gif"> [/code:1:a2abeb9c17]

i'm having trouble envisioning what you said. do you have a URL yet? what edwin said is how to put images in, if you have no HTML experience at all it simply is the directory path and the image name. you of course will need links too <a href="name.html"> out side your image tags.

hi laurie, are you familiar with ftp? you need to download the files and then edit them. the middle of your page is a table. outside of the table you can add the banners. but first you need to get a copy of the site to edit because the control panel won't work.
